|Samenvatting||A motorcyclist is someone who rides a motorcycle or his pillion passenger. The motorcycle has an engine capacity of more than 50 CCs and may only be driven by someone holding a motorcycle driving licence. Motorcyclists have little protection compared with cars. Partly because of the high speeds which a motorcycle can reach, a motorcyclist has a relatively greater chance of serious injury or death in the event of an accident. Due to the relatively high speeds involved a motorcyclist is less manoeuvrable than a pedestrian, cyclist or moped user but more so than a car. (Author/publisher)|
